Commissioned by his wife on the occasion of Philip's 70th birthday. Six sittings in all at their house near Tavistock. It was very entertaining to share time with a man who has been intimately involved with the community and land in a wonderfully rural part of Devonshire. Some serious debate about the state of the nation but lots of comedy too!
